Here are a few date ideas you and your spouse can do this year.
1. Airplane watching
Go with your loved one to watch airplanes pass by at your nearest airport. Bring lunch!
2. Patio Date with Bonfire
Stay home and cook some hot dogs to eat in front of the fire.
3. Stay Home Date
Stay home and cook a meal together!
4. Boating
Go out on a boat day and bring lunch! You can find rental boats near your nearest lake or ocean. (If you're interested in renting our boat on Lake Lanier, you can do so here)
5. Deep Sea Fishing
If your man is into fishing, go fishing with him!
6. Kayaking
You can go kayaking at your nearest lake or ocean.
7. Camp indoors!
If it's too cold outside, set up a tent in your living room, turn on your fireplace and have a sleepover inside the tent.
8. Rent a Treehouse
If you have some money to splurge, find a treehouse on Airbnb and just enjoy some time away.
9. Waterfall Hunt
Go on a waterfalls hunt. Get in your car and visit several waterfalls in one day.
10. Beach Picnic
Have a picnic on the beach.
11. Backyard Date
Why go to a restaurant when you can have a date in your backyard? Bring your table and food outside to have a secluded, romantic dinner.
12. Backyard Grilling
Grill together, play some music, laugh and chat.
13. Picnic at the lake
If you don't have a beach, find a local state park that has a lake and have a picnic.
14. Scenic views
Find a scenic view around your area and just watch and relax.
15. Have some ice cream
Go out and share an ice cream together.
16. Rent a tiny home
Tiny homes are unique and so cute for a romantic mini getaway.
17. Walk Downtown
Dress up just to walk downtown. Everyone will surely think you have somewhere important to be. 😎😅

Find a secret spot where you can just sit and watch your downtown skyline. 🏙
19. Set up a fort
Set up a fort, teepee or tent indoors. Make s'mores watch a romantic movie and eat snacks.

Take your favorite food to the lake or beach and have a picnic. You can rent a boat or have a picnic on a floating air mattress.
24. Rent an exotic car
Rent a car for one day and cruise around your city/town and go to a nice restaurant feeling fancy. We have rented several cars from Turo.
25. Beach walks
Walking in the beach is super romantic. If you live near a beach, go out and take a walk with your love!
26. Swimming or Splash pad
Go to your nearest pool or splash pad and play Marco polo.
27. Bike Ride
Get on a nice trail and ride bike together.
28. Go camping
Look for a local campground and go camping.
29. Carriage ride
Go to your nearest city and take a carriage ride around the city/town. Make sure you have extra cash for tipping.
30. Dance in the rain
Is there anything else more romantic than dancing in the rain like no one is watching?
